Here we have one of the winners of our lunchtime program Mintie wrapper tearing contest, pretty long don’t you think.  Each Friday with the help of some members of a local church we run a games and activities lunchtime program.  It consists of some crazy games with lots of yummy chocolates and drinks for prizes.  The best event by far was the Bungy Running event with about 100 students present.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I was involved with one of activity lines in term 1, which involved going fishing.  Here we are below at the Jetty at Semaphore Beach.  As you can see it was a great day for fishing, except that some of us did not put on enough sunburn cream, er, that was me; and I was rather sore that night.  Unfortunately we did not catch anything on this day, but everyone had a good time.  You can just see a pelican on the lamppost, which stayed there for quite a while.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Although we did not catch anything, I think that we all had a great time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After fishing, some of the students decided to get a bit wet, some more so that others.
